Hi there,
I've read about the fact that adding your valve allows me to run my system with a very low superheat at the evaporator outlet. How can this be safe?
Won't I risk getting liquid refrigerant in the compressor?
Thanks,
Lori

Since XStream changes the flow pattern inside the evaporator to annular flow, we maintain a very thin film of refrigerant on the surface of the coil at the outlet. This allows better communication with the sensing bulb and eliminates the evaporator hunting found in a conventional system.
You can find visual aids that help explain this concept even further in our training class Introduction to XDX: 101. Let me know if you need further explanation.

I was skeptical at first also, but it works great, and is bug free! If I had the chance I would install one on every system out there.
