I saw that there was a forum that had some threads,,, they all seem to jump all over everyone when you ask a question and I am not equipped to answer the hows and whys. I have a few installed and see great results and hear that some huge chain is using it, but someone that gets how it works just needs to see this forum and address some answers.

there was one guy talking about flood back saying that someone from xdxd told him that it wasn't floodback if he had twenty degrees, when they told me is wasnt flood back if I had twenty degrees superheat at the compressor even though It seemed like it by frost. thats all, just someone needs to counter the negative understanding at this hvactalk site. i cant

I would need to know all the details to give a diagnosis on liquid line floodback.
It's normally true that under normal load conditions 20 degrees of superheat would indicate no floodback is occuring, but that's not always the case.
