Havana, Cuba - Sep 28, 2002 (PRN): XDX INC. has come to present new evaporator technology to the Cuban People, as the only equipment or component manufacturer authorized to export to the Island Country. Safety, energy savings and reliability stem from the performance increase of this company's innovation. XDX offers their industry solutions for energy reduction and food-storage temperature improvement at the historical conference United States Food and Agribusiness Exhibition 2002, PABEXPO, in Havana, Cuba.
XDX Innovative Refrigeration carries the food safety message to the island, and intends to head up the effort to provide a safe and economical way to store the agricultural and food products in this new opportunity for U.S. businesses. This Chicago area refrigeration company has been granted a temporary export license to bring its revolutionary X-STREAM® and A.R.M.E.D. ® technologies into help U.S. business interests improve storage conditions and up to a 66% extension to shelf life of perishable product. Independent Laboratories have also tested and documented 18% to 24% energy reduction.
XDX offers the opportunity for Cuba to retrofit existing equipment as well as replace equipment with energy efficient refrigeration of increased capacity. "Increased capacity will bring improved storage temperatures and safe conditions," Stated Frank A. Laraia, Jr., Vice President of Sales and Marketing at XDX, who has spearheaded the XDX effort.
"A simple component retrofit like ours, that can enhance the operation of the refrigeration systems that are already in place, can significantly improve the performance with the lowest possible capital outlay. This is significant in this struggling Cuban economy."
